Nest to Fledge
(With Parent Participation)
Nest to Fledge program begins the process of nature connection in the early stages of childhood development with the intent of creating strong connections to the Earth and nurturing awareness and sensory skills for young children.
Parents have the opportunity to learn alongside their children each week as we explore all the diverse landscapes of each class location.
Each week we will gather for large group activities, and as children “fledge” they will go off on short adventures with one of our instructors and return to the fire with stories for the parents.
This program is part of a larger “village” community that includes intentional overlap with the NEWTS (ages 5.5-8), KESTRELS (ages 9-12) and Teen (13 -18) on the same day.
