Mark Bakunin

A passionate instructor with six younger siblings, Mark (aka. Marky B) is a stop-motion animator with over 12 years of experience. He derives his inspiration from animated films, especially stop motion ones such as “The Nightmare Before Christmas”, “Coraline”, “Paranorman”, and old Soviet cartoons. Mark started his artistic journey as a Lego animator in the first grade, and throughout school years he was able to gain over 180,000 followers on his YouTube channel (click here to view) by sharing his animated projects to a wider audience. A former film student at The Riekes Center, now Mark coaches students as an instructor in the fields of stop motion animation, 2D and 3D animation, filmmaking, editing and many other disciplines.
