Juan Pablo Reggiardo

Juan Pablo Reggiardo has been in the sports performance and fitness world for over 20 years. He has worked in both the private sector working with adolescents and adults, as well as in the collegiate field training multiple sports and athletes.
Juan Pablo first came to the Riekes Center as an intern in the summer of 1999. After interning for four months, he was hired on as a strength coach, and eventually worked his way up to Director of Athletics. In 2004 Juan Pablo was hired by Stanford University to be the head sports performance coach for the Stanford Men’s Basketball team. In addition to his duties with men’s basketball, he also trained the Women’s Volleyball team as well as the Men’s & Women’s Sailing teams. Juan Pablo worked at Stanford for four years, including during the 2007-2008 season that made it to the Sweet Sixteen in the NCAA Tournament.
In the summer of 2008 Juan Pablo had an opportunity to work at Louisiana State University, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He worked there in the same capacity as at Stanford, heading the sports performance role for the Men’s Basketball team at LSU, while also working with the Men’s Golf and Women’s Volleyball teams. The Men’s Basketball team were the 2008-2009 SEC Conference Champions. In 2011, after three years at LSU, Juan Pablo returned to the West Coast and Stanford University, to once again direct the Men’s Basketball team. He worked there from 2011-2016, and oversaw a basketball team which won two NIT Championships and earned another visit to the Sweet Sixteen in 2014.
Juan Pablo graduated from the University of Arizona in 1998 with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology and Psychology. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, a Performance Enhancement Specialist and a Corrective Exercise Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and a Titleist Performance Institute Certified Golf Fitness Instructor-Fitness Pro Level 2. He is also a United States Weightlifting Federation Certified Club Coach, as well as a United States Track & Field Level 1 Coach.
After 12 years of working at the collegiate level, Gary finally convinced Juan Pablo to return to the Riekes Center in 2016, his first job in the sports performance field and where a passion for helping others began. Juan Pablo is married to the beautiful Tiffany Reggiardo, has three children (Christian, Eeva, and Milana) and two dogs (Kona and Leila).
