Home School Programs
Riekes Fusion
The Riekes Center continues to pioneer new programs for homeschooled students with the Riekes Fusion program! Fusion combines multiple exciting subjects to give homeschooled students a fun and educational day as well as a lunch break to get to know each other in a relaxed setting. This structure allows for learners with similar interests to spend time in multiple classes together as well as an opportunity to explore new subjects.

FUSION Program Descriptions
Art - Classes use various techniques to explore drawing, painting, charcoal, mural-making and more!
Film - Interact with the 3 stages of video production: Pre, Production and Post while you learn acting, screenwriting, editing, special effects and more!
Fitness - Enjoy jumping, running and other healthy athletic movements through skills, interactive activities and games! Develop a positive attitude towards physical activity for your own personal lifetime wellness.
Music - Explore an instrument (such as guitar, bass, piano, drums or vocals) with a group! Learn about melody, harmony and simple scales. Practice improvisation in a variety of styles and learn your favorite cover songs!
Lunch - Bring your own lunch and hang out with your peers! Lunch will be held outside in our backyard as weather permits, but there is also an indoor space available when needed. (Students will be responsible for providing, storing and cleaning all personal lunch items and shared spaces...at the Center, please "Leave it better than you found it!")
