Riekes Center Recitals

Every month, students have the opportunity to perform on stage with a full band, gaining valuable live playing experience.

Prices include one lesson per week, and each weekly session is guaranteed. If your instructor is unavailable, we will provide a qualified substitute, or you will be refunded for your lesson. Plus, we will gladly reschedule if you need to miss a session. Just give us 48 hours notice.

Band Class

Band Class is the ultimate program for students who are ready to take their musical skills to a higher level. Bands of 3-4 students meet for one hour per week and learn songs, with an emphasis on excellent live performance. Students also learn how to improvise and come up with tasteful riffs and grooves in a variety of styles. Riekes Center bands have gone on to write their own songs, play local shows, and record albums.

“Pop and Fizzle” Band Class Concert (Included for all Band Class students)
Every 3 months, we host a free concert to provide a venue for our bands to play short sets. They can invite their friends to come listen and enjoy great live music. The pros say that you don’t really learn how to play live until your hundredth gig. We want to help our students get there as quickly as they can!

Financial Aid

Financial aid is available for all of our programs. In addition to direct scholarships, we offer work-trade opportunities through our Student Services program.
